UAVs, which achieved great success in the air in the past period, paved the way for the use of land and sea platforms, which we can call their cousins, in the war stage. Underwater systems, which take/will take active duty in the oceans and seas, which are as “unknown as space”, play or are preparing to play a critical role in many areas. These systems, which have a general definition as “Unmanned underwater vehicle” (ISAA) in the literature, show a lot of variation in sub-fractions.
