The U.S. Navy has expanded its existing contract with Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. through a $225,109,424 modification (P00011). Issued under contract N0001925C0130, this cost-plus-incentive-fee agreement—executed in Melbourne, Florida—authorizes the exercise of options covering the design, development, and delivery of training materials and course content for Northrop Grumman E-130J training weapon systems.
Awarded following a competitive procurement process, this modification represents a critical step in supporting Navy personnel as they transition to next-generation platforms.
Technical Workshare Across Strategic Facilities and Delivery Timeline
The technical activities and production processes under the contract will be geographically distributed among strategic facilities across the United States. Approximately 64% of the operational workload will be carried out in Orlando, Florida; 31% in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and the remaining 5% in Melbourne, Florida.
The engineering and design efforts that will shape the training infrastructure of the E-130J platform are scheduled for completion by March 2027.
