SARSILMAZ Remote Controlled Weapon System (RCWS) integrated on HT Division unmanned ground vehicle at Enforce TAC exhibition.

At the Enforce TAC Fair, SARSILMAZ has initiated negotiations for strategic partnerships with HT Division, a company developing successful unmanned defense system solutions in Hungary and the EU region, and PK Auto, a Slovenian manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles. Both negotiations carry strategic importance. This is because they are conducted between companies from NATO member countries.

Move from SARSILMAZ on Unmanned Systems and Medium-Caliber Weapon Integration

The first meeting was held with HT Division, which develops successful solutions in unmanned defense systems in Hungary and across the EU region. Within the scope of the project, the SARSILMAZ/BEST Defence Remote Controlled Weapon System (RCWS) will be integrated into HT Division’s unmanned ground vehicle, developed for fire support missions. Furthermore, the SARSILMAZ/BEST Defence RCWS has been integrated into HT Division’s unmanned operational vehicle. Also, it is being exhibited at the HT Division stand during the fair.

As part of the discussions with Slovenia-based PK Auto — into whose vehicles TR MEKATRONİK’s medium-caliber weapons are already integrated (TR MEKATRONİK operates as a joint venture with TUSAŞ) — cooperation and new projects were brought to the agenda. The two companies plan to continue their discussions and contacts after the fair. In addition, they are preparing to announce new collaborations in the near future. PK Auto stands out as one of the leading companies in the region in developing a wide range of low-voltage autonomous electric vehicles for use in defense and search-and-rescue operations.

Strategic Synergy and Technology Transfer Among NATO Member Countries

Emphasizing that the meetings and collaborations with Hungary’s HT Division and Slovenia’s PK Auto — both visionary companies in the European defense industry — are highly beneficial in terms of knowledge transfer and technological advancement, SARSILMAZ Foreign Trade General Manager M. Nuri Kızıltan stated that they are joining forces as global companies designing innovative defense systems to address the evolving security challenges of a changing world.

Kızıltan noted that, with nearly 150 years of experience and vision, SARSILMAZ has integrated its remotely controlled weapon systems — one of its recent focus areas — into HT Division’s unmanned ground vehicle. He also stated that SARSILMAZ’s TR MEKATRONİK medium-caliber weapons have been integrated into vehicles manufactured by PK Auto, one of Slovenia’s leading companies.

Kızıltan emphasized that these collaborations demonstrate the superior performance and compatibility of the defense systems developed by SARSILMAZ. As companies from NATO member countries, he expressed his belief that the synergy created through these partnerships will contribute to the emergence of new collaborations. Moreover, reminding that Türkiye’s share in defense exports has been increasing year by year thanks to successful projects by Turkish companies, Nuri Kızıltan stated that, as one of the country’s long-established defense companies, they take pride in contributing added value to the national economy through exports. He also said they will continue working to further increase this contribution through new high-technology partnerships.
