IDEF International Defence Industry Fair, Türkiye’s global showcase in the defense industry, is preparing to open its doors for the 18th time in 2027. Official signatures have been signed for the major organization, which will be held under the management of TSKGV and organized by KFA Fuarcılık.
IDEF (International Defence Industry Fair) has set its course for 2027. IDEF 2027, which will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center between May 3–9, 2027, will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defence and with the support of the Presidency of Defence Industries of the Republic of Türkiye.
Management by TSKGV, Organization by KFA Fuarcılık
The Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TSKGV), which assumes the management and responsibility of the fair, has joined hands with KFA Fuarcılık for the organization process. Following the successfully held signing ceremony, the aim is to enhance the global competitiveness of domestic and national systems.

Bilal Topçu, General Manager of TSKGV, who personally leads the process, emphasized the strategic importance of IDEF 2027 and stated: “We aim to ensure that our domestic and national defense industry reaches a stronger position on a global scale, to increase strategic collaborations, and to support our export targets. We will realize IDEF 2027 in a manner befitting our country’s vision.”
The Pulse of the Industry Will Beat in Istanbul for 7 Days
The fair, which will be held at the Istanbul Expo Center’s modern infrastructure in the new period, will host thousands of domestic and international participants for seven days. Bringing together giants of the defense industry, decision-makers, and technology developers, IDEF 2027 will host the latest technologies in land, naval, and air defense platforms.
