Empa Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a technology supplier involved in critical projects within the defense industry, has received approval for its initial public offering (IPO) application from the Sermaye Piyasası Kurulu (SPK).
Providing technological solutions across a wide range of fields—primarily space, aviation, and defense, as well as industrial electronics, e-mobility, smart energy, and consumer electronics—Empa Elektronics, is preparing to go public. The IPO process will be led by Halk Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş., with the offering price set at TRY 22 per share.
Financial Details of the IPO
The IPO will be carried out through a combination of capital increase and secondary share sales. The company aims to increase its issued capital from TRY 141 million to TRY 170 million. As part of the process:

Target IPO Size: TRY 836 million
Capital Increase: Shares with a nominal value of TRY 29 million
Secondary Share Sale: Shares with a nominal value of TRY 9 million
Total Shares Offered: Shares with a nominal value of TRY 38 million

Empa Elektronics,serves as a material supplier in major projects such as the 5th Generation National Fighter Aircraft KAAN, HÜRKUŞ, HÜRJET, and the Altay Main Battle Tank. The company also provides component support for UAV and UCAV platforms, smart munitions developed for these systems, and missions across air, land, and naval domains.
With 37 years of experience in the sector, the company plays an active role in introducing new technologies to Türkiye’s defense and electronics ecosystem through international partnerships.
