Tr Motor CEO Osman Dur explained the developments about the engine of the Altay tank.
The engine of the Altay main battle tank was recently operational, Dur said, adding that the engine is currently in testing.
Dur said that the 1000 horsepower engine developed for the Fırtına was started. He noted that the design and production of the 1500 horsepower engine is completely finished. Dur said the transmission of the 1,000-horsepower engine was in collaboration with the British. The first operation of the transmission was carried out and the testing process was started.
