In his speech during the ceremony, SSB Land Vehicles Department Head Dr. Murat Ceran emphasized the importance of Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and shared the following projection:
“Seeing the momentum that unmanned air and naval vehicles have gained over the past 10 years, I assess that Unmanned Ground Vehicles will also become indispensable elements of the battlefield within the next few years. We expect UGVs to become one of the most important components of the battlefield within the next decade.”
Dr. Ceran underlined that Elektroland Defence’s national and domestically developed UGV systems will strengthen the military’s capabilities in increasingly prevalent asymmetric warfare scenarios.
