Russia’s new radar system 1L125E was displayed in the Western Russian city of Orenburg, close to Kazakhstan. A video viewing the Russian radar system in the city centre was posted online.
In addition to aircraft with low radar cross-sectional areas, the 1L125E radar is also able to detect cruise missiles up to 500 km away.
The mobile radar placed on the 8×8 KAMAZ chassis was unveiled at the Russia –Africa Summit in 2019.
