The air-to-air long-range Bozdoğan missile, developed under the leadership of Turkey-based TUBITAK SAGE (TUBITAK Defense Industries Research and Development Institute), successfully completed the first firing test from the aircraft.
Bozdoğan, integrated into the F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces, successfully destroyed the target UAV system at the first shot.
The missile, which has an infrared seeker head, is highly maneuverable, flying well above the speed of sound.
