The Pentagon may recently sign a contract with Lockheed Martin for the supply of 30 2.0 Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM).
PrSM, a new generation surface to surface missile, can be actively served in the destruction of the S-400 self-powered air defence missile system. The missile, which can be launched from the existing M142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS platforms, will exchange information with the command-and-control unit during the operation. The missile has a range of about 500 km and can be increased by up to 550 km.
In October 2020, Lockheed Martin released a video simulating the launch of PrSM munitions targeting the air defence system, thought to be a Russian-made S-400.
