The tests of the domestically developed MARLİN 100 EW Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), created through the cooperation of ASELSAN and Sefine Shipyard, have been successfully completed. President of the Defence Industry Agency, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, announced the successful results of this new generation naval platform equipped with electronic warfare capabilities. This important development, which carries Türkiye’s defence industry strength into the Blue Homeland waters, is also the result of a strategic project realized with the contributions of the Defence Industry Agency and the Naval Forces.

Developed entirely with domestic and national resources, MARLİN 100 EW aims to make a significant contribution to the modernization efforts of the Turkish Naval Forces. The Unmanned Surface Vehicle is not only remotely controlled; it can also independently perform missions with its high-precision target engagement and autonomous navigation capabilities. Additionally, this platform, equipped with the remotely controlled SMASH weapon system, will provide the navy with a strategic advantage through its most distinctive feature: Electronic Warfare (EW) capability.

The superior capabilities of MARLİN 100 EW will significantly enhance the deterrence of the Turkish Naval Forces in regional waters.
