Hanwha, a company based in the Republic of Korea, announced new changes to its AI-based, multi-purpose unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) and the start of military testing with the armed forces.
The platform is planned to be used to transport ammunition, reconnaissance and evacuate patients on the battlefield. The UGV’s performance, operational ease and tactical workability will be tested in a military operation scheduled for the second half of this year.
The company said the prototype UGV, scheduled to be unveiled in July, has improved maximum speed, load weight and range.
