Fingerprint System Localized in Turkey

The Interior Ministry has announced a domestic fingerprint recognition system. The technology, developed by BİYOTEKSAN with HAVELSAN engineering support, will start to be used from March.

Biometric data for identification purposes will be compared with the records in the database and 1-1 authentication and identity query by scanning the records in the entire database.

 

The company states that the fingerprint matching infrastructure can be used in all areas for authentication purposes.
