New Wing Assisted Guidance Kits for Turkish Air Force

New Wing Assisted Guidance Kits (KGK) have been delivered to the Turkish Air Force. President of Defence Industries, Ä°smail Demir announced the development on his social media account.

“We continue to deliver guidance kits to our air force. New deliveries have been made of KGK guidance kits that convert MK-83 general purpose bombs into smart ammunition and provide precision strike capability.” Demir said.

The KGKs developed by Tübitak SAGE for the 500-mile MK 82 and 1,000-mile MK 83 General Purpose Bombs, and produced by the Kale Grup, provide precision strike capability to ammunition from a distance of over 100 km in all weather conditions.

The kits, which allow aircraft to safely complete their missions without approaching dangerous areas, are planned to be integrated into F-16 POIII aircraft.
