AYESAS General Manager Öner Tekin, which is the one of Turkey's leading defence industry suppliers was guest of a live broadcast in C4Defence's official social media account. Tekin made important statements regarding the company's aviation operations.
Company is a subcontractor in the hardware and software field of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) project. Being the sole supplier in some of the sub-components used on the platform, the company has gained considerable experience and knowledge in this process. Tekin said that negotiations continue for the Turkey's TFX Project with Presidency of Defence Industries, which is primary governmental institution for defence area and Turkish Aerospace. If an agreement is reached between the parties, it will be possible to benefit from the experiences gained in the JSF Project at TFX.
The firm, which also plays an important role in the National FADEC Project, is responsible for the design activities. In the system, which will operate together with the real-time operating system of TÜBİTAK, the software and management system, which is critical in this way, will be developed entirely with domestic facilities.
Öner Tekin also made important statements about the project carried out with the NATO Communications and Information Agency of AYESAŞ. As part of the process, the company is responsible for the development of the Agency's Air Traffic Management Gateway Software and System Integration studies. The study is important in the management of military and civil air traffic. With the implementation of this work at NATO bases, the management of the air traffic in the areas of use will be entrusted to AYESAŞ.
