By advancing mass production capability and quality standards at its production facility in Kayseri, the company expanded its product portfolio in the fields of defense, aviation, and energy storage.
“Battery Production Capability Is a Strategic Necessity”
Evaluating the year 2025, ASPİLSAN Energy General Manager Prof. Dr. Ahmet Turan Özdemir stated that lithium-ion batteries determine the strategic fate of countries in many areas ranging from defense to transportation. Özdemir said, “The capability to develop and produce battery cells is not only a need of today, but a strategic necessity for future generations. Domestic battery cell production isa a strategic domain of sovereignty beyond being an economic activity.”
