ASELSAN, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary on November 14, has taken a significant step in the field of air defense systems. In a disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the company announced that it has signed new contracts worth a total of €1,122,139,260 with the Secretariat of Defence Industries (SSB) of the Republic of Türkiye.
New Agreement Added to Ongoing Mass Production Projects
The statement noted that these contracts were signed as an addition to ASELSAN’s ongoing mass production projects. Under the new agreement, deliveries are planned to be completed between 2027 and 2030. This strategic move will make a substantial contribution to Türkiye’s efforts to strengthen its air defense capabilities.
Commenting on the agreement, ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol shared the following statement on social media: “We have signed another strategic contract that will advance our country’s layered air defense capability. This step is not only an indication of our expanding mass production capacity but also a reflection of the trust placed in the solutions we deliver in the field. Under the leadership of our state, we continue to build the ‘Iron Dome’ step by step and further strengthen the power of our heroic army.”
