Armelsan Defense Technologies, which produces solutions in the field of underwater acoustic systems, has integrated the remotely commendable underwater robot Kâşif into the Fatih drilling vessel.
The robot, which carried out mechanical operations in drilling activities up to 3,000 meters depth, was the result of the work of 35 engineers.
The Kâşif conveys images underwater in real-time and is able to perform activities such as cleaning the head of the drilling well, changing screws, closing the lid.
The second Kâşif will be integrated into the Kanuni drilling vessel.
