Turkey's indigenously developed National Medium Altitude Air Defence System Hisar-O was successfully test-fired in Aksaray with the participation of the Minister of National Defence Nurettin Canikli. Previously, General Staff of the Republic of Turkey announced that Hisar-O's tests would be carried out between 22 January and 4 February.
Hisar-O's first flight test was conducted on July 23, 2014, again in Aksaray.
