Ukraine is looking for an international partner to revitalize the operation of the Kharkiv State Aviation Manufacturing Company (KSAMC), which manufactures an An-74 transport aircraft and already has 20 platforms on its production line.

According to the development announced by Ukroboronprom, the chosen partner is being asked to commit to re paying back KSAMC’s existing debts, provide a loan for the start of production of the aircraft and put an An-74 modernisation first. In this context, the institution to be agreed without an agreement will have the right to sell the An-74s; among the conditions announced that the partner company must purchase a certain number of aircraft at a predetermined price.
