The U.S. Navy’s request for a new training jet received an offer from India. For the U.S. Navy, which is looking for a new aircraft to replace the existing Boeing T-45 Goshawks in its inventory, New Delhi has proposed LCA Tejas (Light Combat Aircraft).
India is planning to establish a logistics base in Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Sri Lanka to export planes to other countries.
India has sent the aircraft’s detailed project plan to the United States, including advanced avionics such as the platform’s cockpit display layout and control performances.
