Russia is developing a new mobile laser system capable of blinding aircraft optics and laser GPS-guided missiles from a significant distance, according to Russian media. With its relatively small size, the mobile system can be mounted on combat vehicles and armored cars, blinding the detected optical system via multi-channel laser beam. Reportedly, the new system will also be able to counteract the optoelectronic systems of armored vehicles and tanks.
