Greece is taking three steps to modernize its Hellenic Air Forces. According to Greek Ekathimerinidaily, Greek Defence Ministry announced the steps. Aides of Defence Minister Panos Kammenos said that the decision was taken in line with recommendations made by military chiefs. Greece will make the improvements to the F-16s Greece already owns. Second step will be to buy F-35s; and, finally, make maintenance of the military’s S300 long-range surface-to-air missile systems.
