F-22 Raptor aircraft have taken of for the Pacific. As part of the Enhanced Air Cooperation Initiative between the US and Australia, 12 adet F-22 Raptor aircraft and approximately 190 air personnel will be deployed to the Tindal base of the Royal Australian Air Forces (RAAF ) this month. The cooperative initiative is aimed at deploying fifth-generation combat aircraft in the strategic pre-emption Asia-Pacific region with joint training and military exercise. With Incoming F-22s, both countries will organized the training of fifth generation combat aircraft for the first time together. The Enhanced Air Cooperation Initiative was created under the Force Posture Agreement between the US and Australia.
