Russia will hold a large-scale military exercise similar to the Vostok 2018 trainings every five years, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said. “Naturally, we had been planning these drills, we intend to hold them further, every five years,” Shoigu said in an interview aired on Rossiya-1 television in the Far East on Sunday. This week Russia held the Vostok 2018 manoeuvres which involved nearly one-third of its army.
