April 8, 2021Russia to Deliver Rocket Engines to U.S.
The RD-180 rocket engine delivery will be completed later this year, along with the latest group of engines that Russia will deliver to the United States.
According to Igor Arbuzov, managing director of rocket engine manufacturer NPO Energomash, the latest batch delivery to the United States was not made on time due to COVID-19.
It is stated that the engines are kept ready in storage and can be delivered later this year. Russia has delivered a total of 116 RD-180 engines to the United States since 1999.
