Statements have started to come from countries regarding the contracts signed at the IDEX 2021 defence fair in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

In this context, Russia has reached an agreement with Jordan-based firm Jadara Equipment and Defence Systems. The export version of the 9M133 guided anti-tank missile Kornet-E was decided to be produced in Jordan.

“Kornet-E is one of the anti-tank systems that is effective in the global arms market and desired by countries,” said Viktor Kladov, director of Rostec’s Department of International Cooperation and Regional Policy.

Kornet-E, which can also be used against helicopters flying at low altitudes and low speeds, uses a thermal aiming mount with a range of 3,500 meters integrated. The ammunition has a 25-kilogram firing unit.
