Russian Defence Export Company offered full-fledged military and technical cooperation with Turkey. On press release issued today, Rosoboronexport expressed its desire to renew full-fledged military and technical cooperation with Turkey. The first practical step towards strengthening bilateral ties in the area is to become Rosoboronexport’s participation in IDEF’17, an International Defence Industry Fair to take place in Istanbul on May 9-12.
“Turkey is one of Rosoboronexport’s crucial partners. We are in consultations on a number of the most promising defence projects of mutual benefit. Ankara is particularly interested in Russian AD systems of various ranges, active and passive tank protection equipment, as well as small arms and ammunition for them, and special gear for the Ministries of National Defence and Interior,” said Rosoboronexport’s CEO Alexander Mikheev.
