Poland to Renew Confidence

The Polish Government and Airbus Helicopters will renew confidence after the dispute in October last year over the supply of 50 Caracal helicopters. The Polish Defense Ministry requested Airbus to bid for the newly announced helicopter tender. Lockheed Martin and Leonardo are among the companies that have been invited to take part in this competition. 
Poland is expected to increase the number of helicopters to be purchased from an initial 16 units from 50 to 70.
