Argentina officially suspended the light fighter aircraft exchange program. Argentine Defence Minister Julio Martínez announced on 1 February that A-4AR Fightinghawk suspended light aircraft fleet replacement program. The minister stated that they haven’t consider new aircraft supply in the short-term due to economic difficulties. Argentine Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Argentina / FAA) is potentially interested in replacing 12 A-4ARs with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) FA-50 or Leonardo M-346FT.
