Germany announced on 21 February that the FGS Nordrhein-Westfalen frigate (Baden-Württemberg/F125/Type 125 class) successfully completed the first sea test. FGS Nordrhein-Westfalen which tested maneuverability and integrated marine systems took place from 27 January to 4 February, is the second of four Type 125 class frigate newly built for the German Navy. The frigate which was launched in Hamburg on April 2015, built the ARGE F125 consortium, consisting of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems and Friedrich Lürssen.
