Another important step was taken in the DAG (Eastern Anatolian Observatory) project. The mirror with a diameter of 4 meters to be mounted on the DAG Telescope was successfully moved to its place and the assembly process was completed.

The DAG project, carried out within the body of ATASAM (Atatürk University Astrophysics Research and Application Center) started its work with the aim of becoming the largest observatory in Europe. The DAG project will be “Turkey’s most sensitive eye in the world” with the quality images it has obtained when it starts to serve.
