The new variant of the HÜRKUŞ training aircraft developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) was introduced.
A total of six of the HÜRKUŞ Air Ground Integration Aircraft (Hava Yer Entegrasyon Uçağı/ HYEU), designed and modified for training missions, will be delivered. In this context, two base aircraft will be delivered in the first place.
MAM-L and BDU-33 training ammunition will also be available on the platform. According to officials, HYEU has completed successful firing tests with MAM-L ammunition and is currently in the process of certification.
The HYEU, whose mission is defined as air ground integration, will have laser marking, day-night visibility and targeting pod.
