As part of the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program, Sikorsky shared a new video of the Defiant X concept with coaxial rotor.
The helicopter, expected to enter service in the 2030s, will replace existing UH-60 Black Hawk fleets. The Defiant X is said to have a greater range and speed than the Black Hawks.
Designed to carry four crew members and 12 passengers, the platform is expected to have a cruising speed of 462 km/h.
#DEFIANTX brings speed and maneuverability to where it matters most: delivering combat power in support of the ground commander.
