New AKINCI Delivery to the Turkish Air Forces

3 Baykar Akıncı UAVs produced by Baykar Defence were delivered to the Turkish Air Force.

The acceptance of the UAVs was carried out at the Tekirdağ Çorlu Airfield Base Command.

The 3 accepted UAVs were transferred to the 14th Unmanned Aircraft Systems Base Command in Batman and entered the inventory.

Akıncı UAV has a 20 – meter wingspan with its unique twisted wing structure which is longer and wider than the Bayraktar TB2.

Akıncı, which can carry a number of national smart ammunition, can also perform some of the tasks performed by fighters.

Akıncı is also capable of carrying out an aerial bombardment with much more advanced payloads such as an electronic support pod, satellite communication systems, air-to-air radars, obstacle detection radar, and synthetic aperture radar.

AKINCI UAV will be equipped with air-to-air missiles to be used in air-to-air missions.

Baykartar Akıncı Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Taarruzi Ä°nsansız Hava Aracı – TÄ°HA) System can operate with ammunition, missiles and bomb loads such as, domestic and nationally produced MAM-L, MAM-C, Cirit, L-UMTAS, Bozok, MK-81, MK-82, MK-83, Wing Guidance Kit (Kanat Güdüm Kiti – KGK) -MK-82, GökdoÄŸan, BozdoÄŸan, SOM-A.
