Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia (FSMTC) answered reporters’ questions about talks on the sale of Su-35s and Su-57s to Turkey.
“If we are asked to continue negotiations for the Su-35, we are ready. Same with the Su-57. If our Turkish partners are interested, we are ready to start working on this issue as well.”
Earlier, Rosoboronexport announced that they would offer strategic partners the export version of the Su-57 fighter jet. The firm’s Director Alexander Mikheev said preliminary consultations with “individual countries” had already begun.
President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan reviewed the Su-57 with Russian President Vladimir Putin at MAKS 2019, an aviation fair held in Moscow in 2019.
