Loyal Wingman, an unmanned aircraft project run in partnership with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and Boeing, has successfully completed its first flight.
It was said that the platform successfully completed the predetermined route at different speeds and altitudes.
The unmanned aircraft, which is scheduled to perform joint missions with other manned and unmanned aerial platforms, was produced during the three-year period from design to flight.
In total, up to 16 Loyal Wingmans can be operational in teams with jets. The platform is planned to be used for reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence and electronic warfare missions.
