The Joint Strike Fighter for the first time participated in 'Red Flag' training exercise this month, held at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, USA. The F-35s coordinated with more than 60 aircraft including various intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms, successfully sharing a threat picture via Multifunction Advanced Data Link (MADL) and Link 16.Â
