Bombardment and ground support aircraft Jaguar attracted attention with its extended new nose. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s (HAL) long-nosed Jaguar, modernized for the Indian Air Force, was exhibited at the Aero India 2017 fair. Under the DARIN III modernization program, Jaguar is equipped with avionics such as new autopilot system, new video recording system, new radar altimeter with low error margin. Indian Jaguars will use the Russian Glonass system to navigate via satellite. In addition to the modernization program in India, the launch of the air-to-air ASRAAM missile integration program for Jaguar aircraft is targeted.
