Russian state-owned defence company Rostec revealed at the Aero India 2017 international exhibition in Bengaluru that S-400 Triumf slated for China are currently in production phase. China has ordered three S-400 regiments, which corresponds to six divisions consisting of eight launchers and 112 missiles. Russian company also stated that the deliveries might begin in 2018 at the earliest.
S-400 Triumf is an advanced anti-aircraft weapon system developed by Russia's Almaz Central Design Bureau.
