Ukraine tested its new rocket last week. The new 80 mm rockets, developed and produced by Ukroboronprom’s subsidiary Artem, have been fired at the targets set during the test. The rockets fired from the multi-barrel rocket launcher destroyed the targets within half a second. Ukroboronprom declared the test was successful. Rockets produced for the Ukrainian Air Force are being used to interfere with air targets as well as surface targets. The new 80 mm rockets were designed to be integrated onto attack helicopters and aircraft. Newly modernized MI-8MSB attack helicopter was utilized during the test.Â
