FNSS has published a video about the operation of the Otter Rapid Deployable Amphibious Wet Gap Crossing System, produced as part of the first contractual original design and development project of the Turkish Land Defence Industry.
Otter, which has been developed in accordance with the tactical operational needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, in order to ensure rapid and safe passage through wet gaps on the battlefield, can work in different combinations. FNSS shared a video about how the platform made an floating bridge from its official social media account.
Platforms enable the transportation of 1 Military Load Class 21 (MLS 21) class vehicle by itself, and transportation in the AYS 85 class with the combining two Otters. Aiming to use the limited time in the battlefield efficiently, vehicles can create a twin transport team within a maximum of 10 minutes.
