The Philippines believes in their new aircraft for fight against terrorism. The Philippines's FA-50 light combat aircraft has conducted its first operation in the Lanao del Sur region located on the south of the island, on 25 January. Philippinian Air Force signed a contract with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) for 12 FA-50s in March 2014, amounting to US $ 421 million. Four aircraft have been delivered so far. The FA-50 can fly two thousand kilometers with four and a half tons of ammunition.
