Lockheed Martin (LM), who has been having hard times for sometime with the US President Donald Trump due to pricing issues of F-35 programme, finally achieved its goal. The company tweeted: “We appreciate President Trump's comments this morning on the positive progress on F-35 programme. We share his commitment to delivering this critical capability for our men and women in uniform at the lowest cost to taxpayers.”
Trump raised difficulties to Lockheed Martin with his tweets even before he officially took over presidency. Trump stated that F-35 programme was very expensive and called LM's greatest rival Boeing to offer F-18s.
