Atlas Elektronik UK (AEUK) has secured an export contract for its ARCIMS unmanned surface vehicles with an undisclosed customer. The two vehicles to be delivered will be configured to utilize anti-submarine warfare (ASW) surveillance module in order to increase the capability of persistent monitoring of underwater activity, such as submarines, mini-submarines and diver delivery vehicles. 

Atlas Remote Combined Influence Minesweeping System (ARCIMS) was designed to allow rapid transport by land, sea, or air. ARCIMS carries a variety of payloads to include magnetic, acoustic, and electric sweeps. The USV can perform modular minesweeping, hunting and disposal against all types of mines. The ASW module integrates variable depth sonars (VDS) onto the ARCIMS platform, adding surveillance capabilities to the vessel.
