Swiss-based company Anavia has introduced the HT-100 VTOL, an unmanned cargo vehicle that makes vertical take-off and landing (VTOL).
The rotary wing UAV, which has a useful load capacity of up to 65 kg and a flight time of 240 minutes, will be used for operations such as surveillance, logistics and search and rescue.
“Low flight and maintenance costs, high compatibility with common sensors and useful load systems make the HT-100 an economic alternative to helicopters,” the company said, as the cost of maintenance and repair is effective and plans to replace helicopters with the HT-100 in the future.

The HT-100 has a spare engine, with a range of 400 km and a ready-to-deploy operation in 15 minutes.
