The first of the Bell 412EPI utility helicopters, purchased by the Indonesian Armed Forces in 2018, was delivered to the force. A total of nine helicopters are planned to be included in Indonesian inventory as part of the deal.
The platforms are being customized by Indonesian state-owned aerospace firm PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI).
The 412EPI has a PT6T-9 engine and dual numerical automatic flight control system.
Indonesia is planned to use the platforms in the Land Forces.
