Acceptance tests of the first unmanned aerial vehicle system developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI), which can autonomously fly and navigate in night and day conditions with its ability to be controlled from a satellite, have been successfully completed. Two UAVs and related systems were delivered to the Turkish Air Force.
The ANKA-S System, which was designed indigenously according to international safety standards with the integration of new generation payloads, took its place in the inventory as one of the most competent systems of its class with its all indigenous flight control computer, aircraft control computer and IFF.
