The KOOP Protocol was signed between ALTINAY Defence Group and Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Mechanical Engineering within the scope of YTU KOOP Model.

The protocol was signed by Deputy General Manager of ALTINAY Defence Technologies Murat Koç and Dean of YTU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Dr. İhsan Kaya on 23^rd November.

The YTU KOOP Model, which is a redefined innovative version of the traditional internship and implemented within the scope of vocational training in business, aims to improve the cooperation between the university and the business world.

While the university introduces the student who wants to do KOOP to the employer in the appropriate sector, the employer starts to prepare the student with the qualifications they are looking for business life during the KOOP Training. In addition, it has been observed that the rate of preference of the university that implements KOOP Education has increased in the following years.
