Turkish APS Passed Trials

Turkish Undersecretary for Defence Industries Prof İsmail Demir has announced on his official Twitter account that Akkor Pulat active protection system (APS) has successfully completed trials. Demir added that “The system that will be integrated on our tanks serving in the Olive Branch (Zeytin Dalı) Operation will be used on the battlefield for the first time in the world.” Akkor Pulat active protection system was jointly developed by ASELSAN and TUBITAK SAGE. Akkor will provide a 360-degree protection shield with its high-tech radar system.
